They will be analysed within their political, social as well as their cultural context. It will be necessary to include in our investigation a portrait of the Chilean youth of such an historical period; who were, with no doubt, not only the support to this rock band; but also, the inspiration source to them.Thus, we entitled this investigation " political and socio cultural profile of the rock band Los Prisioneros and the 1980´s Chilean youth", due to the fact that most of them were the ones that suffered the blows of Pinochet´s regime.
