520 _aRESUMEN:This study research is a Methodological Proposal on line with teaching English as a foreign language through computer tools to students of second grade of high school education who belong to subsidized school of the Region of Valparaíso.The methodological proposal has the aim of instructing teachers to develop reading comprehension using the tools and the strategies offered by the computer world in a native and cooperative atmosphere using modified inputs.The Methodological Proposal offers the instructions to accomplish the lesson plan model proposed by the Ministry of Education on the Portfolio to obtain the Pedagogical Excellence Assignation (AEP) and ten strategies to develop reading comprehension through computer tools. The reading methodologies are divided into three stages Pre reading, while reading and post reading.A complete websites guide to further work is offered and support material such as websites are attached at the end of the Proposal in a C.D. format.Keywords: Teaching, Reading comprehension, computer tools, high school education, technology, Internet, cooperative learning, CALL, reading strategies, motivation and questionnaires.
